| Northwest Region Equipping Seminars A big part of Northwest Equipping is training seminars. These are not conferences: they're not gatherings of large groups to listen to a man or woman of God stand up to inspire and instruct us. These are gatherings of a few dozen people, perhaps in a living room or a conference room, where we’ll be talking and learning together, where we'll be practicing what we're learning. It's the difference between instruction and impartation, we hope. These are some of the seminars we're hoping to bring to our region: This page is about vision. Your prayers are invited.

Essentials of a Supernatural Life
 True Intimacy with God
Just from the subject matter, I can tell that this seminar will need to be birthed out of intimacy with God. Our goal will be to go beyond learning that we need intimacy with God (we know that!). We'll discuss practical ways to develop intimacy with Him, and we'll spend time together intimately in His presence.
The Omega Course: The End times and what they mean to us
The Left Behind series of books has turned the subject of the end times into worldwide bestselling novels. Their theology, however, is from generations ago, and while it may be familiar, it is not necessarily biblical. We'll be studying some of the main points of current theology, both from Biblical exegesis and from current prophetic revelation. Then we'll review why it's significant to us now, and how much actually is depending on our response to an eager Bridegroom longing for His Bride.
Marketplace Ministry
There are two realms for ministry: being on staff at a church is not the only realm for ministry. We'll talk about what it means to be a minister in the secular marketplace. We'll look at it from a business owner's perspective, from the hired manager's perspective, from the employee's perspective, and from a consumer's perspective.
Supernatural Home Group Ministry
In the Book of Acts, the church met weekly in the temple courts to sit under the doctrinal teaching of the apostles, but they met daily "from house to house." A living and active home group may be the most important meeting of the saints during the week, but a home group that's more about duty than passion won't fill that need. God's kind of home groups are about life-long relationships and supernatural adventures. Learn how to partner with the Holy Spirit to build His plans, not yours.
Healing the Sick
Jesus said, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." The church in the Northwest isn't as competent at healing the sick as we need to be: we have trouble obeying this instruction. Many of us don't really pray for the sick, largely because we don't have faith for their healing. We'll have with us one or more individuals who have a record of successfully healing the sick that they pray for. The Fundamentals of Following Jesus
This is a "New Believers" class that will teach you who you are in God, will explore your calling and your destiny both from the Word of God and from prophetic ministry, and will equip you with a foundation to make you a Kingdom-minded world changer, ready for action in your church, in your neighborhood, on your city streets. Prophetic Intercession
It has been said that a prophetic intercessor has his ear in heaven and his mouth on earth. When he prays what God reveals to Him by the Holy Spirit, God’s will is released in the earth. Prophetic intercessors arise walk in humility and power, character and grace and write history before the throne of God. We'll learn how to tie prophetic gifts with prophetic words and release them both in intercession.
The Mechanics of Ministry
So you want to start a ministry? We'll talk about the practical aspects of minstry organizations, including topics like these: Prophetic Teams: their care and feeding
It's one thing to teach people to prophesy individually. It's an entirely different process to learn to minister in the prophetic as a team. Learn how to build teams, how to work together as a team, how to determine the various roles in team ministry, and how to survive the pressures of team ministry.
Apostolic Ministry
God has been releasing apostles and their apostolic ministry again, but what actually makes a ministry an apostolic ministry? What makes a man or woman an apostle, as opposed to a church-planter or bishop? Are you called to apostolic ministry, and how do you deal with that? Our plan is to have several sessions in this seminar, each led by a different apostle: man or woman who is already working in the apostolic.
Watchmen over your neighborhood, your city
We've heard the stories about how the enemy planned to something evil in a neighborhood, and the Saints of God stood in the way and stopped it. The Watchman calling is not necessarily the calling of every intercessor, and some who are called as Watchmen are not called as intercessors. We'll discuss both theory and practice of this important ministry. We'll also begin a network for those interested, in order to build relationships between various Watchmen in the same region.
Practical Deliverance Ministry
Back in the day, to cast out a demon, it took days of prayer and fasting, yelling and cussing, sweat and spit. The spiritual technology of deliverance has moved way beyond that point. Learn to discern whether deliverance is necessary, and then how to accomplish the deliverance cleanly, quietly, and painlessly in partnership with the Holy Spirit.
Supernatural Teaching, or the Office of the Teacher
It's one thing to know how to teach; most universities can offer a course of study in that. It's entirely something else to learn how to walk in the anointing and office of the teacher, how to distinguish the office of teacher from pastors, encouragers, preachers and other gifts, and how to make the most of your gift.
